Shop These New Stores at Tempe Marketplace

Tempe Marketplace’s parent company Vestar recently announced the introduction of 11 new businesses at the outdoor shopping center. Over 54,000 feet of retail and restaurant space will elevate the shopping experience for visitors.

Newly opened retailers include Lululemon, Nike, Handel’s Ice Cream, Escapology and LumberjAxes. Handel’s Ice Cream, opened in November, serves over 100 flavors of homemade ice cream daily. Escapology is an escape room experience for kids and adults alike.

LumberjAxes is an axe-throwing restaurant above Victoria’s Secret, with 13,000 square feet of space for axe-throwing fun. J.Crew, Rowan Piercing, Pandora Jewelry, Box Lunch and Strange Adventures Comics & Collectibles plan to open within the coming months. Box Lunch is a gift and apparel store, full of pop culture memorabilia. Hot Topic, already in the mall, is also moving to a new 3,000-square-foot storefront, making more room for alternative apparel and goods.

“We are excited to welcome a new wave of tenants to Tempe Marketplace,” says Taylor Alvey, vice president of leasing at Vestar. “These additions underscore our commitment to offering an unparalleled shopping experience for the community.”

Just in time for the holidays, the addition of these new retailers will allow shoppers to have an even more exciting shopping experience. Tempe Marketplace is also hosting plenty of festive events throughout the holiday season. With the new Sip & Stroll event, patrons can now shop while enjoying an adult beverage within the perimeter of the mall on select evenings. Be sure to visit during December for photos with Santa or pick up a gift for the Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree. Check out the Naughty or Nice pop-up displays around the mall to get your Christmas card photos. More than 100 shops and restaurants make Tempe Marketplace the perfect place to get holiday shopping done.
