Colin Murray Photography LLC announced today the opening of a brand-new photography studio in Uptown Phoenix. Studio 6060 by colin murray photography offers personalized, “boutique” photography services by appointment.
Colin works with a wide range of associates offering hairstyling, makeup artistry, wardrobe, and fashion styling services to specifically cater to each client’s photography needs.
Whether it’s a fantastic headshot to land the next job or a mother-daughter portrait session to mark a special occasion, Colin will assemble the right team to bring his clients’ desires to fruition. Colin Murray is a Beauty, Fashion, and Portrait Photographer.
Following a long and distinguished international business career, Colin, who was born in Zimbabwe, has 20+ years of photography experience, initially in the travel and editorial world. In recent years, his focus turned to studio photography full-time, with his own studio in Downtown Los Angeles.
Moving to the Valley in 2019 was a return to his desert roots, and he is proud to continue his work and welcome clients at his new location in Central Phoenix.
Colin is a Certified Professional Photographer (Professional Photographers of America), a Licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers, and a Professional Member of the American Society of Media Photographers.
Colin teaches both the Business of Photography classes and photography workshops for the PPA. Colin works together with his wife, Kathleen, a producer, and fashion stylist.
She is a former model, pageant queen, and has been involved in fashion shoots since childhood. In addition to wardrobe styling duties on the day of the shoot, she is responsible for coordinating the team of professionals assembled for each shoot, from hairstylists and makeup artists to set decorators, florists, and even animal trainers.
