Canvas & Couture Presents a Fusion of Fashion and Art into a Floral Extravaganza on April 4

Florals for Spring? It actually will be groundbreaking at Scottsdale Artists’ School Second Annual Canvas & Couture, a unique event showcasing the fusion of art and fashion on April 4. Starting at 11a at the iconic Hotel Valley Ho, a fashion runway will be transformed into a floral extravaganza of color where guests are invited to dress in their most fabulous floral style.

Doreen Picerne, a well-known philanthropist, entrepreneur, and fashionista as well as Robert Black, founder of the international model and talent agency Ford Robert Black Agency, are sponsors for the one-of-a-kind event. Together they co-own Fashion by Robert Black. Well acquainted with the world of fashion and art, they are both long-time supporters of Scottsdale Artists’ School.

Scottsdale Artists’ School, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been a prominent influence in the art community and continues to teach the fundamentals of fine art to artists and aspiring artists of all ages and skill levels. Proceeds from Canvas & Couture will support the school’s programs offered to a wide range of students including children, adults, families, public schools, education facilities, shelters, rehabilitation services and many others who might not be able to receive this education without assistance.

Each ticket includes a signature cocktail to complement the theme, a light lunch, the option to purchase tickets for great raffle gifts and of course a mesmerizing runway fashion presentation. VIP Guests will be seated directly beside the runway and receive a special VIP gift bag. Tickets for the event are $125 and $200 and are available to purchase by visiting  www.scottsdaleartschool.org or calling 480.990.1422.
