The blogs and airwaves have been buzzing about the Britney Spears’ cameo on “Glee” for months now and, after long anticipation and gossip, the night is finally here! Tune into Fox at 8/7 Central tonight… It’s going to be Toxic!

The sexy Britney/Brittany episode takes Brittany (Heather Morris) and Santana (Naya Rivera) through a Britney Spears musical dream after Dr. Carl Howell, played by John Stamos, gives them anesthesia. The girls will sing and dance to Britney hits and even dance alongside the iconic pop star herself!

Glee has also given tribute to other blond stars like Madonna and Lady Gaga, but for some reason we all want to see Britney Spears back on camera.

“People that love this show or even like this show, they’re going to love this episode,” John Stamos said in an interview posted online. “I don’t feel like Britney stole my thunder … maybe a little. Well, it’s her show. [The episode is] called ‘Britney/Brittany.’ ”

The teaser video for tonight’s episode shows the female “Glee” stars rocking out to Britney hits like “..Baby One More Time,” “Toxic,” “Stronger,” “Me Against the Music” and “I’m a Slave 4 U.” And they’re not just singing the songs, they are ready to dress and dance just like Britney.
