With thousands of homeless animals across the Valley requiring care, Foothills Animal Rescue is rallying community support through its signature fundraising event, Paws to Celebrate, returning May 9, 2026, at the Clayton House in Scottsdale. The evening is designed as a celebration and a call to action, bringing together dining, entertainment, and philanthropy to support the organization’s ongoing lifesaving work.
Guests will experience a cocktail reception with gourmet bites, an open bar, live music, and a silent auction featuring items and unique experiences, followed by a seated buffet dinner and live auction.

According to organizers, the need for support has grown significantly. In 2025 alone, Foothills Animal Rescue cared for 1,067 animals, marking a 33 percent increase from the previous year. That rise reflects a broader trend in rescue work, in which organizations are increasingly providing not just shelter but also medical treatment, behavioral rehabilitation, and extended care to prepare animals for successful adoption.

Throughout the night, stories of recovery and resilience underscore the organization’s mission, while fundraising directly supports food, veterinary care, shelter, and operational resources that sustain its year-round work. Event programming includes an immersive evening of dining and storytelling, direct-impact fundraising opportunities, and community engagement moments designed to connect donors, advocates, and animal lovers.

Tickets are priced at $250 per person and are available through May 1, with early purchases helping the organization plan and expand capacity to meet rising demand. Sponsorship opportunities and auction item donations remain open for local businesses and supporters looking to contribute. For more: foothillsanimal.org.
