Game On for Good: The Saguaros’ 2026 Olympiad Returns to Scottsdale Stadium

There are plenty of ways to give back, but few are as spirited as the annual Olympiad hosted by The Saguaros. On April 17, 2026, the group’s 27th annual Olympiad returns to Scottsdale Stadium, bringing together businesses, community leaders, and spectators for a day of friendly competition in support of children’s charities across Arizona.

A long-standing signature event for The Saguaros, the Olympiad blends philanthropy with team building in a way that feels more like a field day than a fundraiser. Companies from across industries form teams and spend the months leading up to April fundraising in creative, competitive ways, all vying to outpace others in their sector and claim their industry’s fundraising cup. The real payoff comes on Olympiad Day, when those efforts culminate in a lively, action-packed showdown on the stadium field.

Teams face off in events like a home run derby, dodgeball, cornhole, and obstacle courses, all with the goal of taking home the coveted Saguaros Olympiad Cup. It’s equal parts strategy, teamwork, and pure fun, designed to strengthen company culture while making a tangible impact in the community.

This year, organizers are aiming higher than ever. Historically welcoming around 65 to 70 teams, the 2026 event is set to expand to as many as 100 corporate teams spanning industries from technology and healthcare to finance and professional services. The growth signals not only the popularity of the event, but also its evolving role as a meaningful platform for businesses to connect, compete, and contribute.

New this year is an enhanced halftime experience, where participants can refuel with food and drinks while celebrating fundraising achievements. The moment also brings a bit of added excitement with the announcement of raffle winners, including the highly anticipated giveaway of a Ford Bronco, courtesy of Earnhardt Ford. Adding to the festive atmosphere, Phoenix Beer Co. will debut a special Saguaros Olympiad-branded beer, available exclusively during the event.

“The Olympiad has always been about community, teamwork, and supporting children in need,” said Clayton Wolfe, this year’s Saguaros Olympiad chair. “As we celebrate 27 years, we’re excited to expand the event to include more industries, grow our fundraising potential, and make the event an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.”

The public is invited to join in the excitement through the event’s beer garden: A $100 donation grants access to food, drinks, and a front-row view of the action. The Olympiad is more than a competition. It’s a celebration of what can happen when community, creativity, and a little healthy rivalry come together in the name of giving back.
