This year’s event embraces a picnic-inspired theme, inviting guests to enjoy wine tastings, charcuterie-style bites, live music, giveaways, and photo ops at more than 25 participating bars and restaurants throughout the city’s bustling core. For $5 per sample, attendees can sip their way across Downtown while enjoying complimentary snacks at each stop, creating a relaxed, sun-soaked experience.

“Urban Wine Walk is designed to bring people together and showcase the energy of Downtown Phoenix,” said Jessika Baker, Community Engagement Director. “It’s an opportunity to experience our local businesses in a way that feels accessible, engaging, and uniquely reflective of our community.”

The self-guided walk kicks off at CityScape, located at 1 E. Washington St., and allows guests to explore at their own pace. With no registration required, attendees are encouraged to follow the route that suits them best, soaking up the city’s atmosphere and supporting locally owned businesses – nearly 80 percent of Downtown Phoenix establishments are independently operated.

From tasting stops to live music and playful picnic-themed elements, the Urban Wine Walk is a celebration of community, creativity, and the evolving energy of Downtown Phoenix. Whether you’re a longtime local or visiting for the first time, the event offers an inviting way to experience the city, connect with neighbors, and toast to the neighborhood’s spirit.

The 16th Annual Urban Wine Walk runs from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, across 25+ bars and restaurants throughout Downtown Phoenix. Guests are encouraged to dress for the picnic-inspired theme and enjoy a leisurely, sunlit stroll through the city’s dynamic culinary scene. Learn more at dtphx.org.
