Bastille Day in Phoenix

I have been waiting for “le quatorze juillet” (July 14) for a long time, as I love France, French food and the French! Bastille Day is a national holiday celebrated all over France which commemorates the 1790 Fête de la Fédération, held on the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789. In Arizona, we celebrate by taking our dining plans to select French eateries, which I have conveniently gathered for you. Vive la France!

Sophie’s Bistro Bar Creperie

James Beard Award-winning chef Christopher Gross’ bistro at Biltmore Fashion Park is dishing out his own French menu for the special occasion. It’s time for a bon appetite, and what better day to have it than on Bastille Day!
