Rings, Resorts & Royal Treatment: Proposal Packages Made Easy with Girl About Town

Girl About Town (GAT) is the go-to preferred vendor for many of the Valley’s top luxury hotels—and for good reason. Whether it’s decorating for a special occasion, stocking the fridge before guests arrive, or delivering Insta-worthy pool floats for a bachelorette weekend, this company does it all. When it comes to popping the question? This is where GAT truly shines.

By partnering with some of the Valley’s most iconic resorts, the company ensures clients get access to unforgettable proposal experiences, complete with exclusive perks and picture-perfect setups. When founder Meghan Alfonso first launched the business, the idea of working directly with hotels felt overwhelming.

The staff turnover and red tape in the industry made it seem like an impossible door to break through. But thanks to Meghan’s persistence and creativity, GAT is now not only in the door—it’s leading the way.

“There are a lot of ropes to go through, and with the constant revolving door of new hires in the hospitality industry, it was like starting from scratch every few months,” Meghan said.

Meghan wasn’t about to let that affect her plans – being the self-proclaimed “pesty concierge” and event planner she is, she was able to lock in partnerships others were too afraid to go after.

Those partnerships began with hotel decorating using throwaway decor only. However, after seeing the success of their proposals, doors began to open, and GAT is now featured on various resort websites.

Mountain Shadows Resort

Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa was the first to take a chance on the GAT brand—and it paid off. Known affectionately as “the rooftop,” this picturesque spot was one of the original and exclusive locations for proposal setups. By collaborating with the resort to create a thoughtfully priced package, the space has since hosted nearly 50 proposals. Thanks to Meghan’s vision and persistence, this partnership now brings in an additional $10,000–$15,000 in annual revenue for the resort from that location alone.

Next up on GAT’s list of exclusive resort offerings is Mountain Shadows. When you book a proposal through the hotel, you’ll have access to several stunning on-site locations—availability permitting. But the perks don’t stop at the view. Partnering with Girl About Town also unlocks a $200 dining credit to Hearth ’61, a complimentary bottle of champagne, and a free one-night stay to celebrate your engagement in style.

Royal Palms Resort

Just a short drive down Lincoln brings you to the iconic JW Marriott Camelback Inn, where GAT clients can choose from two breathtaking proposal spots carefully curated by the resort. One package, designed specifically for this location, includes champagne, a professional photographer, full access to the resort grounds, and a dedicated coordinator to ensure your moment goes off without a hitch.

Among GAT’s newest (and most buzzed-about) partnerships is The Global Ambassador. Perfect for couples craving privacy and luxury, the hotel offers two curated proposal packages that fit within a guest room or suite. The GAT team can also help coordinate a more elaborate setup elsewhere on the property.

And finally — but certainly not least — is The Royal Palms Resort and Spa. A romantic hideaway that feels like a secret garden, this historic property features enchanting venue spaces tucked behind ivy-covered gates and Spanish-style architecture. Couples get exclusive access to outdoor dining areas at a discounted rate, with optional room discounts to round out your celebration after the big “yes.”
