The Phoenix Symphony is bringing the sparkle back with the return of its much-anticipated community event, Savor the Symphony, unveiling a new theme for 2026: Disco Divas.
Taking place at 10:30 a.m. on February 19, this signature fundraiser invites guests to experience a behind-the-scenes look at a working rehearsal, followed by a curated luncheon by Chef Stephani O’Connor, who leads culinary development for Fox Restaurant Concepts. With more than two decades of experience, O’Connor is known for her thoughtful approach to recipe development, strong team leadership, and ability to create memorable dining experiences, making her a natural fit for this celebrated pairing of food and music.
Guests will enjoy an exclusive preview of Disco Divas, a high-energy program that pays tribute to the iconic artists and unforgettable sounds of the disco era. Beyond the music, attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from Phoenix Symphony musicians and artistic staff, offering insight into the rehearsal process and the vital role community support plays in bringing these performances to life.

Proceeds from Savor the Symphony directly benefit the Symphony’s Community Engagement and Education programs, which serve thousands of students, patients, and community members throughout the Valley each year through school performances, hospital visits, music-integrated learning, and other outreach initiatives.
This year’s event is chaired by Cathy Stein and Meghan Cox, both longtime champions of the arts and civic engagement. Stein, president of Concorde Travel Management, has held leadership roles with numerous Arizona nonprofits, while Cox, CEO of Impact Advocacy Group and Groundgame Political Solutions, brings extensive experience in public engagement and community initiatives on a national scale.
“Savor the Symphony brings our community together around musical excellence, cuisine, and shared passion for the arts,” President Peter Kjome said. “Support from this annual event enables us to enrich lives through music, including more than 100,000 students and other Arizonans each year as part of our Community Engagement & Education programs.” Individual tickets are $500.
