To celebrate Easter Sunday (yup, it’s this weekend!), two of our favorite sweet spots in the Valley are offering some delicious seasonal treats.
GoodyTwos Toffee The Scottsdale toffee stop will offer half-pound duo goody boxes which will contain a quarter-pound of traditional toffee and a quarter-pound of Crème de la Crunch. The Easter boxes will be wrapped in GoodyTwo’s robin egg blue grosgrain ribbon, accented with chocolate brown grosgrain ribbon and sealed with an Easter message: Sweet Easter Wishes. The Easter special is $20.95 and is available through Saturday, April 3. 10953 N. Frank Lloyd Wright, Suite #105, Scottsdale, 480.575.0737, www.goodytwos.com.
Chestnut Lane The adorable Phoenix cafe (with has sells amazing homemade treats as well as great breakfast and lunch items) is selling individually wrapped sugar bunny cookies; carrot cake; coconut cake garnished with speckled eggs; old-fashioned chocolate and vanilla cupcakes garnished with sugared pansies; blood orange pound cake; and spring meringues. What Easter fete doesn’t need a blood orange pound cake? Yum! Chestnut Lane is also serving flourless Passover desserts through April 5, including chocolate-coconut macaroons. Note that the shop is only open until 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 1 p.m. on Saturday and is closed on Mondays. 4225 E. Camelback Rd., Phoenix, 602.535.5439, http://www.chestnutlanecafe.com/.
