This fall, many of the top culinary events in the Valley will be filled with amazing fare, high-end wines and spirits, live entertainment and covetable giveaways. But only one will be giving away an all-inclusive vacation to Las Vegas on their own private jet. That’s where the 2nd Weekend Jetaway Culinary Casino Classic comes in.
On Friday, Oct. 11 from 6:30 to 10 p.m., Valley foodies–and those who just want to have a good time–are invited to a private jet hangar of the Scottsdale Airport for food from the Valley’s top chefs, cocktails, live music from Valley cover band Retroactive and fun casino games. Participating restaurants include Dominick’s Steakhouse, North Italian Farmhouse Kierland, Peñasco Tequila, Proof – An American Canteen, Sapporo Scottsdale, Sassi, SOL Cocina, Stella Artois, The Greene House and Tom’s Thumb Fresh Market. Guests can also enjoy the Clique Photo Station, David Blaine-style magicians, a live and silent auction (prizes include custom jewelry from Kendra Scott to dinners with chefs to vacations to Cabo San Lucas and golf retreats worldwide). And, as mentioned above, four guests will win an all-inclusive vacation to Las Vegas on their own private jet the night’s end.
The party will even host a special VIP area with an exclusive gaming and dining options from a custom party platform lifted above the main party area.
Best of all proceeds from the Scottsdale’s 2nd Weekend Jetaway Culinary Casino Classic will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale and Pat Tillman Foundation. Tickets are $100-$200. www.weekendjetaway.org.
