Optima Kierland Breaks Ground on Tower Two

Phase two of Optima Kierland Center in Scottsdale has officially kicked off, with an expected completion date of 2020. The high-rise luxury condominium and rental community is already home to one condo tower and is 95 percent sold with more than 90 percent of the homes closed. (Home prices for the first phase ranged from the $300,000s to more than $6.5 million.)

The second tower is expected to feature 202 homes across 12 stories. The welcoming floor plans range from approximately 776 to 2,704 square feet, decked in gorgeous finishes, extensive windows and high ceilings. Optima Kierland residences can even be combined both vertically and horizontally to create larger floor plans to suit individual needs and desires.

To get a firsthand look at what residents might expect when calling the new tower home, we took a tour of the completed first tower. Each tower has an extensive offering of amenities exclusive to that tower’s residents. Tower one has a sprawling lobby with comfortable seating areas, a coffee station, a lounge/gathering area with a kitchen, a business center, a putting green and a golf simulator, which is a big hit with residents looking to perfect their swing.

The tower is brimming with health and wellness amenities. A state-of-the-art fitness center is complemented with an indoor basketball court, a yoga studio, a private massage room, his-and-hers locker rooms, a steam room and a sauna, a whirlpool and a cold plunge pool. The ultimate entertaining space is the rooftop pool area with ample lounge seating, cabanas, kitchen areas and uninterrupted mountain, golf course and city views (the pool area was elevated so the safety railings don’t block the jaw-dropping panoramas).

The upcoming tower will feature many of the first tower’s amenities plus a few fun extras. The rooftop Skydeck amenity space, for example, will have pools, a spa and a running track that circles the perimeter of the space so joggers can take in the beautiful sights with their morning sweat sesh.

Optima Kierland also anticipated a third apartment tower that has the possibility to act as a hotel, as needed.
