Design Spotlight: Blackstone at Vistancia Custom Creation

The homeowner who now calls Blackstone at Vistancia a second home worked with his architect and designer, Tuttle Designer Homes, for four years to craft this beautiful and comfortable custom retreat. The modern-meets-Old World home is elegantly detailed and includes exquisite accents, like 100-plus-year-old wooden beams from an Amish barn in Canada, imported reclaimed Old Chicago brick, custom-crafted stonework, and handmade carved alder doors.

Take a look at four of our favorite spaces in the custom Vistancia abode:

Imported from Italy, the kitchen boasts a leather finish fantasy brown satin granite kitchen island with a contrasting ogee edge, a custom zinc range hood, handcrafted Habersham finishes on custom cabinetry, and Carrera marble backsplash.

Hand-painted Mexican tile, Manhattan Cordova subway walls and walnut plank flooring are some of the accents found in exquisitely-designed bathrooms.

This master retreat is one of four bedrooms in the stunning 5,800-sq.-ft. custom home.

Silver Mine travertine accents and brick ceiling treatments are found throughout the interior space, including the lovely dining room.
