Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show Returns to State Farm Stadium

Get ready to find new ways to spruce up your home and yard just in time for spring. The Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show, the largest home show in the Southwest, returns to State Farm Stadium Friday, February 23 through Sunday, February 25 featuring hundreds of home improvement exhibitor booths and displays.

Guests will learn and gain inspiration from experts on various home improvement topics during live panel discussions, participate in handmade craft workshops, enjoy demonstrations from Master Gardeners, connect with landscaping professionals and so much more. Plus, Maricopa County Animal Care & Control will be offering on-site dog adoptions for those looking to take home a furry friend.

“The Home Show is the perfect one-stop-shop for homeowners to compare, learn and shop from local experts,” said Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show Manager Katie Jones. “There is truly something for everyone to learn with our free crafting workshops, gardening seminars, panel discussions and more at the February show.”

During the live panel discussions, visitors will hear from experts who will share their expertise, provide insights and education, and offer different viewpoints on home improvement topics. This year’s panel discussion topics include: windows, where guests will compare products, price and more with industry experts; painting, where guests will receive expert advice for their next projects; solar, where guests will learn the Pros and Cons of transitioning to solar with local experts; and water Treatment, where guests will hear an in-depth discussion on residential water treatment technologies.

In addition to expert panel discussions, guests will have the chance to attend Master Gardener seminars with The University of Arizona Master Gardeners, who will discuss and demonstrate seasonal gardening tips, such as how to grow in-season vegetables and herbs plus how to attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and more! At the show’s Handmade Headquarters, guests can also sign up for free make-and-take craft workshops. Here, attendees can learn to create their own butterfly plant stick or magnet, explore the Japanese art of growing plants through a moss ball, create a cholla wood pattern tote bag, make a paper collage postcard with acrylic paint pens on upcycled paper and turn natural quartz chips into stunning earrings or necklaces.

The Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show also offers free do-it-yourself workshops for kids ages 4 to 12 featuring fun, educational crafts, as well as free walk-up landscape consultations and take-home designs with landscaping professionals valued at $350. Don’t forget to bring your existing backyard pictures and measurements for a personalized session.

This year, Maricopa County Animal Care & Control will also be joining the event with on-site dog adoptions. Families who adopt a pet will receive free admission to the Home Show all weekend long! Guests can donate a leash or collar for one free ticket or a pack of puppy pads for two free admission tickets.

General Admission to the Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show is $10 daily for adults and is free for kids under 12. For tickets and more information about the event, visit www.mchomeshows.com.
