Maricopa County Home & Garden Show Returns This October

The Maricopa County Home & Garden Show, the largest home show in the Southwest, returns to WestWorld of Scottsdale Friday, October 13 through Sunday, October 15 with hundreds of home improvement companies that will be offering indoor and outdoor services and products available at exclusive Home Show pricings.

The three-day event will also feature live on-stage appearances from HGTV’s Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott on Saturday and Sunday, along with free seminars, crafting workshops and gardening classes where guests can gain inspiration as they shop for the latest in Home and Gardening, as well as food and beverage tastings and more.

“The Scott Brothers are home renovation legends, and we’re so excited for them to share their expertise with everyone,” says Katie Jones, manager of the Maricopa County Home & Garden Show. “I’m also looking forward to the kids’ corner—a new all-ages workshop teaching the basics of gardening with take-home projects.”

In addition to the new Kids’ Corner workshop where children can participate in planting their own flower to take home and grow, the home show will offer unique attractions included with admission, including a Meet and Greet with the charismatic Scott brothers on Saturday and Sunday and tutorials from Master Gardeners who will be discussing and demonstrating the basics of planting and maintaining a garden.

During the free make-and-take craft workshops, participants will learn how to make a tabletop fire bowl to use as an accent in their homes, create their own cement mosaics, put together a handmade wreath for the holidays, paint a fall-inspired portrait with step-by-step tips and plant their own mini cactus in a glass filled with colored sand.

The home show will also offer guests free DIY Demos and Seminars where they can learn how to conquer chaos in their home using take-home tips and techniques on decluttering and streamlining a home, as well as complimentary Interior Design consultations and free landscape consultations with landscaping professionals.

Event goers can also look forward to a live performance from the Golden Grannies during the home show’s grand opening on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m featuring a not-to-be-missed special choreographed routine at 11a.m.
