Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show Returns This July

The Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show is returning to State Farm Stadium next month from Friday, July 14 through Sunday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

The show is full of home improvement and landscaping inspiration for all of your home renovation and gardening needs. There are even free gardening and crafting classes available to guests to learn the ins and outs of home decorating.

“I’m very excited about the educational seminars that will be part of our July event,” says Katie Jones, show manager.

The gardening class will provide intimate knowledge on everything about gardens, from container gardens to vegetables to succulents, where you’ll be able to ask a master gardener anything you want to know.

The DIY seminars will give guests the chance to plant their own bonsai, create exfoliating soap with a loofah inside, make your own candle, paint the beloved Arizona sunset desert scene and even try hydrodipping, a trending marbled water paint technique.

These classes are just some of the show’s unique attractions. There will also be DIY demos and even a chance to build your own backyard. The DIY demos will teach how to declutter your home and maximize the space you have.

In the experience to design your own backyard, you are able to have a free consultation with landscaping professionals where you can get a take-home design. For this consultation you will need to bring a photo of your own backyard and measurements so that the professionals can help fulfill your wildest backyard dreams.

Home renovating professionals are there to answer any questions you may have and help you make your house into your dream home.

“We have local experts providing tips on home organization, choosing flooring, a discussion panel with solar experts and more,” says Jones. “Everyone will leave with inspiration for their home and that’s what makes the Maricopa County Home and Landscape Show special.”

There is even a chance for guests to do some good and give back to the community. In Maricopa County alone, nearly one in four children live in poverty, making it hard for families to provide their children with their necessities. Here are some different ways you can donate and participate:

  • Donate a new backpack and earn two free tickets to the show.
  • Receive one free admission ticket at when you donate any five of the following schools supplies: glue sticks (four-pack), pack of ballpoint pens (½), box of No. 2 pencils (12 pack), box of colored pencils (12 pack), box of water based markers (eight pack), box of crayons (16 pack), dry erase markers (four pack), a single-spiral notebook, a package of loose leaf paper, pocket folders (10 pack) or scotch tape.

Admission prices are $10 for adults, $3.50 for kids aged 3–12 and free for children 2 and under. Parking is complimentary for guests who attend and there is a food court that will host food and beverage tastings.
