FLOWERBX, Expands Its Services in the U.S. and Announces Partnership with The American Red Cross to Aid Residents Affected by Wildfires

FLOWERBX is pleased to announce the launch of its West Coast hub to serve
customers across California, and the entire West Coast, essentially doubling its US distribution in one step.

The brand currently serves customers in the Northeastern United States, and the expansion will now reach California, Nevada, Arizona, Washington State, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Alaska, Utah, and Montana as of
September 2020.

Originally launched in the UK in 2015 and making its East Coast debut last year, FLOWERBX is an international, online flower delivery service known for its extraordinarily fresh flowers, incredible value, and stylish consistency that has quickly gained popularity across Europe and America’s East Coast.

The brand is now bringing its celebrated offering, direct from the growers, to the West Coast. In an effort to aid relief efforts from the wildfires affecting residents on the West Coast of the United States, FLOWERBX is proud to partner with the American Red Cross – a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and disaster preparedness education in the United States.

Starting on September 21st, for every U.S. purchase made online, the brand will donate $5 towards the American Red Cross Western Wildfires relief fund, which provides people with a safe place to stay, food, and comfort in California, Oregon, Washington state, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana.

Like many of you, I have been deeply saddened by the devastating loss caused by the recent wildfires. We hope our contribution will provide some comfort to those affected and will encourage other businesses to do the same. Together we can make a big difference,

– Whitney Bromberg Hawkings, Co-Founder, and CEO of FLOWERBX

FLOWERBX offers a completely new way to buy flowers. The brand’s curated offering consists of single-varietal flowers in a bunch rather than traditional mixed bouquets stuffed with filler.

By offering competitive pricing, seamless digital experiences, and unique delivery services, FLOWERBX makes it easy to regularly receive fresh flowers via same-day bespoke service to LA residents and next day delivery service across the West Coast with the same level of quality and value that its discerning international clients have come to expect.

FLOWERBX’s unique negative working capital business model means that flowers are shipped directly from growers, cutting out the middlemen and allowing the cut-to-order flowers to arrive days fresher at competitive pricing whilst reducing unnecessary waste.

The brand also sells plants, candles, room sprays, and accessories for the home. FLOWERBX was founded by Whitney Bromberg Hawkings in London after spending 18 years working alongside fashion designer Tom Ford as his SVP of Communications.

Bromberg Hawkings serves as the CEO of FLOWERBX and is spearheading its international expansion. FLOWERBX currently serves the United Kingdom, Europe, and now East & West Coasts of the US, with plans to service all of America by Q1 2021.
