Mono Racer Street Legal for Phoenix

Many Phoenix Valley racing enthusiasts will for the first time have a stab at owning and driving an actual racing vehicle, one designed for pure speed and competition. Temecula, California based Sector111, an aftermarket company for racing imports such as the Lotus Elise, Exige and the Ariel Atom has been recently named the exclusive importer of the newly “on sale to civilians” BAC Mono.

The Mono is a lightweight, ultra high performance, road legal sports vehicle designed and manufactured using the latest racing technology. Aimed at drivers who seek a purist driving experience and for whom design, engineering excellence and performance are of paramount importance, Mono is an aggressive design and will set a new benchmark in the small, but elite segment of radical, lightweight sports cars. A large part of what makes this news so exciting is that it is quite rare that this caliber of racing machinery is available and street legal in Phoenix, Arizona or elsewhere in the US.

“The BAC Mono is the single most exciting sports car to come from the UK in a long time,” stated Shinoo Mapleton, President of Sector111. “The US market has a real appetite for finely designed and engineered products. We are proud to be partnered with BAC and will surely be making a few discerning sportscar enthusiasts very happy!”

While some rather eccentric Phoenix Valley racing enthusiasts would be perfectly happy owning a Mono as a daily driver, most will likely want to get them out on the track and stretch their wings.  In the Phoenix Valley area potential racers should inquire about participating in the amateur matches at Thunderbird Raceway.  Phoenix Valley racers also can enjoy the luxury of our close proximity to southern California, the drag racing capital of the world.

Sector111 will be responsible for sales and service of the BAC Mono for the US market. Less than 12 Monos, starting at $130,000 will be available in the US market for 2012.
