Fusion: Shopping Event for Charity

Fall head over heels… literally! Ladies, the charitable and fun shopping event formerly known as Pulse, presented by local non-profit Las Palomas, is re-launching as “Fusion” this Tuesday, Oct. 5 at the beautiful InterContinental Montelucia Resort!

From 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the ballroom of the Montelucia Resort in Scottsdale will be transformed into a bevy of boutiques from across the Valley where women can shop with their friends, enjoy some delicious bites, participate in an amazing raffle and sneak off with an awesome swag bag – all while giving back to local charities.

Las Palomas has been introducing Valley women to local women- and children-focused charities since 2003.

This year’s event will be co-chaired by Mandy Haber and Jennifer Stringfellow-Moser. “While the event name has changed, as are now broadening the scope of the event to include other local charities, we look forward to making it bigger and better every year,” said Haber.

Unlike Pulse, Fusion will not be a luncheon and runway show, but an informal shopping day with friends, food and fashion- all while supporting two amazing Valley organizations.

Proceeds from the event, including a percentage of all sales, will go to support this year’s recipients, the Foundation for Blind Children and Camp Sunrise. “We wanted to specifically include these two organizations as they continue to make an enormous impact on children with disabilities and illnesses in our community,” said Stringfellow-Moser.

This year’s fashionable roster will include Scottsdale Jean Company, Mom
Bomb, Lindsay Lou and Amy Inc.
