A new monthly market is bringing a rotating collection of vintage and home décor finds to downtown Mesa. The Nested House brings together antique pieces, French imports and styled home furnishings collected by designers and artisans from across the United States and Europe. The shop is open for just a few days each month, with the inventory and displays refreshed for each market.
“The Nested House features 12 to 15 designers and artisans that blend vintage finds, current décor, clothing, plants, handcrafted jewelry, gifts, and freshly baked treats, all gathered under one roof,” said co-owner and designer Melanie Mannos.

The market was created by longtime Valley designers Debbie Whipple of Mesa, Heather Scott of Gilbert and Melanie Mannos of Phoenix, who previously worked together and collaborated with Valley clients for decades. The trio wanted the shop to feel more like visiting a beautiful home than a traditional store.
“We want The Nested House to feel like you’re being welcomed into a friend’s home. We open for one special market weekend each month, and every time guests return, the store has been completely refreshed with newly gathered pieces and inspiring displays,” Whipple said.
Upcoming markets are scheduled for October 7-10, November 11-14 and 28, and December 9-12 and 19. Market hours are Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“We’re grateful for the support we’ve received from the City of Mesa, Downtown Mesa Association, family, friends, and our valued clients that showed up for our grand opening weekend,” Scott said. “We’re also proud to partner with House of Refuge, supporting their work to help families experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives and get back on their feet.”
