The MIM Music Theater’s Winter/Spring 2026 Concert Series is shaping up to be an unforgettable season, with newly announced performances that celebrate award-winning talent and the spirit of Grammy season. Recent updates include two highly anticipated shows by legendary singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson, along with performances from several artists nominated for the 2026 Grammy Awards.
Adding another dynamic layer to the season, Mega Ran will headline MIM’s Celebrate Hip Hop Signature Event from February 14-16. Known for his high-energy fusion of hip hop and geek culture, Mega Ran will perform his album Buddy’s Magic Treehouse, which is nominated for Best Children’s Music Album.
His appearance also includes an interactive guest talk exploring the past, present, and future of hip hop music and its influence on popular culture.
Among the standout concerts is Preservation Hall Jazz Band, performing March 9. The iconic ensemble has preserved and championed the music of New Orleans for more than 50 years and is nominated this year for Best Regional Roots Music Album. Their performance brings a rich blend of history, culture, and timeless jazz to the MIM Music Theater stage.
Bluegrass innovator Sierra Hull will take the stage on April 10. Nominated for four Grammy Awards in 2026, Hull is widely recognized for pushing the boundaries of traditional bluegrass while remaining deeply rooted in its sound, delivering performances that are both technically masterful and emotionally resonant.
A winner of the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, Robinson continues to captivate audiences worldwide through a career defined by legendary songwriting and enduring hits. He will perform at the MIM Music Theater on March 18 and 19, offering fans a rare opportunity to experience his music in an intimate setting.
Robinson is also the recipient of a Grammy for Best R&B Vocal Performance, Male in 1987, a GRAMMY Legend Award in 1990, and a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1999.
