Hosted at Warehouse215 for the second consecutive year, this high-energy, red-carpet event serves as the signature fundraising celebration for the Players Trust, the charitable arm of the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA). Proceeds will benefit a variety of player-driven initiatives, particularly those focused on youth sports and education-based development programs across the U.S. and internationally.

Now in its fourth year, the Playmakers Classic continues to grow in reach and impact, offering guests a unique opportunity to mingle with MLB icons while supporting a powerful cause.

Last year’s event welcomed over 100 current and former players, including MLBPA Executive Director Tony Clark and stars like Corbin Carroll, Stephen Kwan, Miguel Rojas, Michael King, and Bobby Bonilla. Hall of Fame outfielder Dave Winfield was honored in 2025 with the inaugural Lifetime Achievement in Philanthropy Award.

The 2026 celebration promises an exciting mix of interactive gaming experiences, sport simulations, live entertainment, and custom memorabilia opportunities, along with auctions, and tastings of premium food, wine, and spirits. Guests of all ages will find plenty to enjoy throughout the evening.

“For nearly 30 years, the Players Trust has been changing the lives of youth across the world by raising millions of dollars for charitable causes and implementing programs to support communities, families and other causes important to our Players,” Executive Director Amy Hever said. “We are excited to return to Phoenix for our fourth annual Playmakers Classic, an opportunity to celebrate the trust’s work and raise awareness and resources for our future efforts.”

Fanatics, a global digital sports platform and long-time partner of the MLBPA, returns as presenting sponsor.

“Supporting youth through sports has always been close to our hearts,” said Grace Farraj, Vice President of Fanatics Philanthropy and Executive Director of the Fanatics Foundation™. “We’re honored to stand with Players Trust in creating opportunities that help young people grow, thrive, and succeed on and off the field.”
