A new dining experience has arrived in Arizona. Westin Tempe has partnered with Fork n’ Film, an internationally acclaimed creative collective known for transforming beloved films into sensory dining events, to introduce the state’s very first immersive cinematic dinner series.

The debut experience is themed around Disney·Pixar’s Ratatouille, the Academy Award-winning film about a culinary rat with a big dream. Every seat for the initial September showings sold out within days, a testament to the growing demand for immersive dining that transcends the traditional night out.

This isn’t your average dinner-and-a-movie night. Guests are treated to a carefully choreographed journey where each dish arrives in perfect harmony with the scenes on screen.

Fork n’ Film has built its global reputation on this synchronized storytelling, combining culinary artistry, emotion, and narrative in one unforgettable multi-sensory event. From elaborate, multi-course menus to thoughtfully designed cocktails and mocktails, every element is tailored to bring the film to life.

Hosted in downtown Tempe, each Fork n’ Film evening is designed for intimacy, with seating limited to just 50 guests. The hotel’s modern event space sets the stage for this fusion of film and fine dining.

“We’re thrilled to bring this one-of-a-kind experience to Arizona,” said a representative from Westin Tempe. “As a hotel deeply rooted in wellness, culture, and hospitality, partnering with Fork n’ Film aligns perfectly with our mission to elevate guest experiences through innovation and thoughtful design.”

Westin Tempe itself is no stranger to immersive experiences. With 290 guest rooms and suites, 21,000 square feet of flexible event space, and sweeping city and mountain views from the Skysill Rooftop Lounge, the hotel is a lifestyle hub that blends culture with the signature well-being pillars of the Westin brand.

Fork n’ Film, known for turning film into feast, brings a global edge to Arizona. Each immersive screening blends narrative with cuisine, offering “a fully immersive fusion of film and food, choreographed so that every bite matches the emotion and timing of the scene on screen.” From dramatic entrees to playful desserts, they engage all five senses in an experience that lingers long after the credits roll.

Tickets for the cinematic dinners start at $199 per person, and are expected to sell out quickly, especially for the newly added fall and winter-themed showings.

October brings the spellbinding fun of Hocus Pocus and the whimsy of The Nightmare Before Christmas, while November promises a frosty trip into Frozen followed by the nostalgic charm of The Polar Express.
