Two model homes broke ground last fall and were completed this summer. Recognizing local expertise, UDC chose to utilize all local businesses to complete the project. Local talent includes: Robert Marr Construction, which built the Sunset Idea House and the Golf Club at Gray’s Crossing club house, fitness center and golf shop; Nicholas Sonder, local Truckee architect and Jeff Brown from Tahoe Mountain Resorts’ Gray’s Crossing real estate office, as the Sierra Cove listing broker.

In addition, Citizens Bank of Northern California, a local bank committed to investing in its community, provided the financing for the project. Tahoe Mountain Resorts’ local sales team, with significant expertise in the Tahoe region and in Gray’s Crossing specifically, is marketing the homes and providing potential buyers with a glimpse of the luxurious lifestyle at Sierra Cove.

The design of the Sierra Cove neighborhood is led by local Architect, Nick Sonder. Home features include extensive covered deep porches, folding glass walls, outdoor fireplaces, built in grills and flatter pitched roofs. The homes also feature oversized garages, large master bedrooms, a private bath for each bedroom, built in outdoor spas, concrete counter tops, along with built in stone fireplaces and wine refrigerators.

Innovative designs seamlessly fuse expansive interiors and the great outdoors with ultra-functional living spaces. All homes will capture the essence of bringing the outdoors inside, while providing buyers with exceptional value, in comparison to other amenity-rich projects in close proximity to Sierra Cove.

Sierra Cove is an exclusive enclave of 23 of the finest homes sites in Gray’s Crossing. The home sites are surrounded by a private Peter Jacobsen/Jim Hardy designed championship golf course and each home site features mountain vistas, with 16 sites boasting prime golf course views. Homes range in size from 2,800 to 3,400 square feet with extensive outdoor covered patio areas consisting of 800 to 1,000 square feet. The first homes are currently on the market from $1,695,000 – $2,195,000.

Sierra Cove is one of the best locations in Gray’s Crossing, within walking distance to the Golf Club at Gray’s Crossing restaurant, fitness center, pool and clubhouse along with the soon to be completed Village with dining and shopping options.

To complement homeownership in Sierra Cove, residents will have the opportunity to become Tahoe Mountain Club (TMC) Members. Featuring all-season amenities, TMC surpasses any other club in the Tahoe region, providing access to the best of Lake Tahoe, including three championship golf courses: Old Greenwood, The Golf Club at Gray’s Crossing and Coyote Moon; The Golf Academy at Old Greenwood; swim, tennis and fitness facilities; spa services; fine private lake-front and mountain dining; ski valet, kids camps and events and gatherings that celebrate the Tahoe lifestyle.
