Minima Homes has broken ground on Solum, a 4,600-square-foot luxury residence at 4222 E. Rancho Drive in Phoenix’s Marion Estates neighborhood. The home is expected to list for $5.5 million and will be available for purchase, marking the company’s third luxury residential development.
Minima Homes was founded by Jared Amzallag and Zander Diamont, the entrepreneurs behind Minimal Living Concepts, one of Arizona’s first and largest companies specializing in guest homes and backyard living. Since launching, Minimal Living Concepts has completed more than 140 projects across Arizona.

Amzallag and Diamont spent nearly two years developing Minima Homes, a luxury residential design-build firm specializing in custom and speculative homes. The company’s first two Minima residences sold for $3 million and $6.5 million nearly two months before construction was completed.
Alongside Solum, Minima has another speculative home in Paradise Valley and two custom residences in development. The company is also preparing to launch a $10 million fund to support its next cycle of speculative homes.

“We knew what we wanted to bring to Arizona’s luxury market, and our first two homes proved there is demand for it,” said Diamont. “The goal has always been to create homes with a distinct point of view. When someone sees a Minima home, we want them to recognize it immediately.”
Solum will sit on a 20,000-square-foot lot and is expected to be completed in approximately 10 months. The residence will feature four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, a three-car garage, office, media room, pool and a built-in daybed cove.

Travertine, white oak and hand-finished plaster will be incorporated throughout the home, with an emphasis on natural light and indoor-outdoor living. The layout is designed to accommodate both gathering and privacy, creating spaces that can shift with the needs of the homeowners.

“Solum is our most ambitious project to date and the clearest representation of what we’re building at Minima,” said Amzallag. “A lot of modern homes can feel cold. We wanted Solum to feel warm, welcoming, and designed around how people actually live.” Learn more at minimahomes.com.
