Are you model material? Think you could be the next Arizona Foothills Magazine cover model? Want to strut down the runway in front of hundreds of fashion lovers at Tucson Fashion Week? Join AZ Foothills, Tucson Fashion Week and the Ford Robert Black Agency on Saturday June 6th from 11a – 1p at Goldies La Encantada for your chance at multiple model opportunities.
AZ Foothills will be accepting those age six and up for the seventh annual Face of Foothills Model Search. Contestants will get a professional photo taken which will appear on AZFoothills.com when the contest begins live online on June 26. All contestants who enter at the June 6th casting will start off the contest with 1,000 bonus votes…talk about a leg up on the competition! The Face of Foothills winner will receive a killer prize package including but not limited to:
– The cover of Arizona Foothills Magazine February cover and six page fashion spread.
– Appear as the header image on AZFoothills.com, AZ Foothills E-Newsletters, and AZ Foothills social media profiles for a full calendar year.
– One year modeling contract from the Ford Robert Black Agency.
– Special guest appearances at VIP Valley events throughout the year.
– More than $5000 in cash and prizes.
Tucson Fashion Week will also be casting models to appear in a host of runway shows ranging from emerging local designers to well known brands during the October fashion fete. While all ages and types are eligible for the Face of Foothills casting, Tucson Fashion Week directors will be looking for specific types to be featured at the shows. Men, women, and plus sized females ages 16 and up will be considered and must meet a minimum height requirement of 5’5” for Presentation modeling and 5’6” for Runway. All models must bring a current comp card and/or headshot. Females are encouraged o wear form fitting blue jeans, black tank top, and high heels. Men should also wear fitted jeans and black tee with comfortable shoes to walk in.
Attendees will have an additional opportunity to be seen by Arizona’s premiere modeling and talent agency, Ford Robert Black Agency. Ford RBA represents some of the states top models such as Rachel Mortenson who has appeared as the face of Marciano by Guess national campaigns along with the June cover of Arizona Foothills Magazine and Taylor Howard, current Teen Face of Foothills, who just shot for Brandy Melville Los Angeles. Agency directors and scouts will be onsite looking for potential new faces to add to their elite roster.
