Fulton Homes and radio station KEZ 99.9 have teamed up to brighten the holidays for children. There is still time left – until December 14, listeners are encouraged to drop off toys and books at the radio station, Bill Johnson’s Big Apple restaurants, or any one of the events held throughout the valley, with all donations benefiting the children of Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

“This is a great way for people to get involved this holiday season and donate to a cause that touches so many of our lives,” said Douglas Fulton, CEO of Fulton Homes. Fulton adds, “Contributing to a special child lifts spirits and administers hope and support for those who cannot be at home for the holidays.”

Teresa Boeger, Director of the Emily Center at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, concludes, “Anytime a child is hospitalized, it is added stress on the family. This event allows the family to break away during the holidays and select something meaningful that will help the child through the healing process – we all know children need more than medicine to heal.”

The next event with Fulton Homes and KEZ will take place on Friday, December 11, where books and toys can be dropped off. There will be a station remote from 4:00 – 6:00pm at Borders at The Biltmore Fashion Park on 24th St. and Camelback.

The last big event is scheduled for 10:00am December 15 at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where Marty Manning from KEZ will be reading Christmas stories to the kids. Milk and cookies will be provided, and children will have the opportunity to pick out their favorite book and toy from the hospital’s Emily Center. Further details will be provided soon.
