What does it mean to be an innovator to you?

To me, being an innovator means using my knowledge and experience to challenge the status quo. In the field of sports performance, we are always searching for ways to find a new competitive edge for our athletes, making it necessary to progress and evolve year after year. I believe in using my platform, specifically as a female in a male-dominated industry, to not only make a positive impact on my athletes lives, but the lives of other females in this field.
