We don’t want to be dramatic, but April is already shaping up to be one of the most exciting months of 2019 thus far, and this weekend is no exception. Between the French Fry and Music Festival, the Arizona Craft Beer Festival and the Days on the Green Music Festival, it’s certainly no secret that we are officially in the midst of festival season you’ll still have every opportunity to enjoy live music and foodie favorites at some of the great events that are taking place across the Valley this weekend, April 19 through April 21.

American Girl Live
Childhood is brought to life in this unique and darling American Girl Live musical, which is inspired by some of American Girl’s most iconic dolls and characters, each beloved by young ladies around the world. Enjoy vibrant music and harrowing tales of bravery as the stories of dozens of these characters are brought to life on the stage at the Mesa Arts Center. Ticket prices range from $35 to $55. Days on the Green Music Festival
Days on the Green music festival is a large-scale celebration that blends music, lifestyle and culture in one setting. The performers all mix elements of reggae, world, blues, punk and blues. The festival includes two stages with national and local bands, state-of-the-art production, a food court, vendor village and much more. Tickets start at $44 per day. Arizona Craft Beer Festival
Calling all beer lovers from near and far, this festival was made for you! The Arizona Craft Beer Festival is comprised of more than 25 breweries, with top-notch brews created specially from Arizona spirit connoisseurs. Attendees can also enjoy live entertainment, with a portion of the proceeds from the event even benefitting the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild. FRIED: French Fry and Music Festival
The festival of our dreams is actually very real, and it’s making its debut at Margaret T. Hance Park this weekend. We’re talking about the FRIED: French Fry and Music Festival, of course. Great Southwest Cajun Fest
You might not make it on a vacation to New Orleans this summer, but no need to worry because the Great Southwest Cajun Fest brings the spirit of the soulful city to life through food, music and a general celebration of classic, New Orleans culture. Mudsling at Pueblo Grande Museum
This unique volunteer event puts cultural and history on full display, as those involved get the chance to mudsling. Mudslinging is a stabilization technique for earthen structures. It has been employed for decades to shore up and repair the ancient Hohokam platform mound at Pueblo Grande.
