<\/a><\/p>\nThis year marks Barrett-Jackson Collector Auction\u2019s 40th anniversary and in celebration, Jennifer Jackson of Rock Me Arizona will present this esteemed fashion show and concert dubbed Celebrity Catwalk-For-A-Cause.<\/p>\n
“People at the auction appreciate cars because they are passionate about them and love their beauty,” Craig Jackson said. “People also have a passion for fashion and love beautiful clothes. Visual stimulation draws people in, and they can appreciate beauty whether it be steel or fabric,\u201d according to The Arizona Republic<\/em>.<\/p>\n The show is sure to be exciting as this year\u2019s theme is \u201cthe Best of the Best\u201d and will feature styles from four decades. Before each era, Valley singer Dawn Jameson will perform a medley in style and theme of that time. And who will supply these colorful ensembles? Randall Designs (which makes costumes for \u201cDancing with the Stars\u201d), Paris Paris Boutique in Phoenix and Barking Fire Couture from Los Angeles will bring fashions to the runway.<\/p>\n Barking Fire Couture will also dress its models in automotive-theme wear fit for the occasion. There isn\u2019t room for the live DJ, since Jackson is anticipating that the tent will be completely full, but DJ XXXclusive is providing a mixed tape designed perfectly to go with each era and collection.<\/p>\n But don\u2019t head out too quickly. Marilyn Monroe (played by Jameson) will sing \u201cHappy Birthday Mr. President\u201d to Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson following the runway show. Plus, there will be delicious anniversary cake by Cake Contessa!<\/p>\n Twenty-five percent of the proceeds will go to Cox Charities, which benefits youth-focused charities throughout the Valley, including the Boys & Girls Club, the Phoenix Zoo and Valley Youth Theatre. Cox Charities has raised nearly $3 million for local charities since it started in 1996, according to The Arizona Republic<\/em>.<\/p>\n WHERE: WestWorld, 16601 N.
