Downtown Phoenix is raising a glass once again as Downtown Phoenix Inc. (DPI) hosts the 16th annual Urban Wine Walk<\/a> on Saturday, April 11. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s event embraces a picnic-inspired theme, inviting guests to enjoy wine tastings, charcuterie-style bites, live music, giveaways, and photo ops at more than 25 participating bars and restaurants throughout the city\u2019s bustling core. For $5 per sample, attendees can sip their way across Downtown while enjoying complimentary snacks at each stop, creating a relaxed, sun-soaked experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUrban Wine Walk is designed to bring people together and showcase the energy of Downtown Phoenix,\u201d said Jessika Baker, Community Engagement Director. \u201cIt\u2019s an opportunity to experience our local businesses in a way that feels accessible, engaging, and uniquely reflective of our community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The self-guided walk kicks off at CityScape, located at 1 E. Washington St., and allows guests to explore at their own pace. With no registration required, attendees are encouraged to follow the route that suits them best, soaking up the city\u2019s atmosphere and supporting locally owned businesses – nearly 80 percent of Downtown Phoenix establishments are independently operated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
