The Switchyard<\/a>, Queen Creek\u2019s pioneering walkable downtown district, is taking shape as vertical construction progresses across its 10-acre mixed-use development at Ellsworth and Ocotillo roads. The latest wave of tenants includes Bamboo Sushi<\/a>, ROOM and PORCH<\/a>, Zara Nail Bar<\/a>, and Edward Jones<\/a>, all set to occupy a single building and contribute to a lively mix of restaurants, retail, and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bamboo Sushi, founded in Portland, will make its Arizona debut at The Switchyard, bringing a menu focused on responsibly sourced seafood and innovative cuisine. The 3,198-square-foot location will feature signature rolls, shareable plates, Happy Hour specials, all in a design-forward setting that emphasizes sustainability and community connection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ROOM and PORCH, a 1,761-square-foot home goods and lifestyle store, will bring furnishings and d\u00e9cor, while Zara Nail Bar\u2019s 3,519-square-foot space will offer a modern, full-service nail salon experience. Edward Jones will also open an office on-site, adding financial services to the growing roster of offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These tenants complement previously announced restaurant operators, including Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, Shake Shack, and Postino, all expected to open by year-end. Together, the mix establishes The Switchyard as a pedestrian-friendly destination where guests can park once and explore dining, retail, and services on foot, a first-of-its-kind concept for Queen Creek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe caliber of tenants joining The Switchyard reflects the demand we\u2019re seeing for a concentrated dining and retail environment in Queen Creek,\u201d said David Sellers, co-founder of Creation. \u201cAs the buildings rise, the leasing activity behind them confirms that this district is resonating with both national brands and local concepts looking to be part of the town\u2019s growth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Led by LGE Design Build, construction on the $120 million development continues at a rapid pace. Three buildings are now vertical, with upcoming work including roofing, exterior framing, and fa\u00e7ade installation on Buildings C, D, and E, while steel erection and framing begin on Building B. Sitewide improvements such as sidewalks, landscaping, lighting, and irrigation are advancing, making visible progress across the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
