The Phoenician Tavern is set to launch its highly anticipated Taste of Tavern<\/a> dining series with an evening dedicated to exceptional bourbon and elevated cuisine. On May 31, from 6 to 9 p.m., the Scottsdale favorite will host a multi-course dining experience in collaboration with Elijah Craig Bourbon, promising an unforgettable night of flavor, craftsmanship, and hospitality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening begins with a cocktail reception, welcoming guests with an Elijah Craig Straight Barrel-aged Sazerac\u2014a bold and aromatic introduction to the evening’s theme. Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, including steak tartare on marble rye, a seasonal vegetable tart with pea and mint pur\u00e9e, radish, asparagus, and whipped ricotta, and smoked salmon on cucumber topped with red onion, dill goat cheese, and chives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dinner will be served in The Phoenician Tavern\u2019s Roundhouse private dining room, where a three-course meal awaits, beginning with a poached pear salad composed of spinach fris\u00e9e, red wine-poached pear, crispy prosciutto, and citrus vinaigrette, perfectly paired with the smooth notes of Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon. The main course follows with a venison chop paired with the full-bodied Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To complete the experience, guests will indulge in a decadent honey cake, served alongside bourbon ice cream and honeycomb brittle, once again paired with the rich and intense Elijah Craig Barrel Proof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
