No one loves Taylor Swift quite like the city of Glendale. Kicking off her five-month-long \u201cThe Eras Tour,\u201d Glendale Mayor Jerry P. Weiers announced<\/a> that the city will temporarily change its name to \u201cSwift City.\u201d The temporary name change goes into effect on Swift\u2019s concert dates, March 17 and 18, at State Farm Stadium.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arizona fans nominated names including Swiftdale, Taylordale, The City of Taylor Swift and Taylor Nation, among others. The city worked with the venue and Swift\u2019s tour publicist to get approval to use her image on the new city sign. Leading up to the concert dates this week, Glendale will scatter digital billboards along the freeways and throughout the Westgate Entertainment District to welcome fans to Swift City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
