The famous Madame Tussaud, which has jaw dropping wax museums all over the world, has finally brought its life-sized and lifelike masterpieces to the celebrity mecca itself, Hollywood Boulevard, and has just revealed its own sculpted and star studded red carpet. Doors open to the public this Saturday, August, 1.<\/p>\n

Madame Tussaud\u2019s Hollywood wax museum will give tourists yet another means of experiencing the Entertainment Capitol of the World while visiting Los Angeles. The new location is of course on Hollywood Boulevard right next door to the famous Grauman\u2019s Chinese Theatre. Admission will be $25 for adults; $18 for children under 12.<\/p>\n
Madame Tussaud\u2019s was created by French wax artist Marie Tussaud, who opened her first museum in London. Madame Tussaud\u2019s can now be found in Amersterdam, Berlin, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Las Vegas, New York, Washington D.C\u2026. and now California!<\/p>\n
Justin Timberlake<\/em><\/p>\n About Marie Tussaud:<\/em> Tussaud learned the art of wax modeling from Dr. Philippe Curtius, a physician skilled in wax modeling. Her mother worked as a housekeeper for Curtius. Tussaud created her first wax sculpture of Voltaire in 1777, according to Wikipedia.<\/p>\n She moved to London in 1802 as a result of the Franco-British War and started up her museum in 1835. The museum\u2019s most recognizable element was its \u201cChamber of Horrors,\u201d which displayed waxwork of human victims of the French Revolution. The Chamber of Horrors now also includes wax sculptures of murderers and other criminals, according to Wikipedia.<\/p>\n On April 15, 1850, Marie Tussaud died in her sleep.
