These events are bringing Germany\u2019s traditional celebrations of one of the world\u2019s oldest and biggest festivals to the Valley for a month filled with booze and fun right here in our own backyard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Downtown Chandler Oktoberfest<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Head to Chandler Park in the heart of the original town square on Saturday, October 1 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. for live music all day, local beer from Arizona\u2019s own Pedal Haus Brewery, craft cocktails, games, a weiner toss, brat eating contest and so much more. Tickets<\/a> are $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four Peaks Oktoberfest<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The three-day outdoor festival at Tempe Town Lake will include live music all weekend across two stages featuring music headliners Authority Zero, Wyves, The Black Moods and more. New additions to the festival include two new carnival rides from Brown\u2019s Amusements, including The Orbiter and The Music Express that will have you riding backwards, a Weiner dog fashion show, Denmark Foods Empanadas featuring vegetarian and poblano chicken empanadas and even a Celebrity Brat Eating contest. Tickets<\/a> are $20 per person on Friday and Saturday and admission is free on Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gilbert Oktoberfest<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Forty8 Live!<\/a> is kicking off autumn with Gilbert Oktoberfest<\/a> on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Gilbert Regional Park from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Attendees will enjoy an authentic, immersive Volksfest experience that will transport desert dwellers to the streets of Munich. Live music performances include Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime<\/a> as the headliner, Manuela Horn<\/a>, known as the \u201cQueen of Oktoberfest\u201d and her band, \u201cThe Oktoburlesques,\u201d plus a traditional German brass musical ensemble known as an Oompah band. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests will enjoy Bavarian beers served by local breweries all day long plus bratwurst, pretzels and fresh catered meals from German vendors as well as stein holding and sausage eating competitions and other games. A free children\u2019s activity area will also be provided. Tickets are on sale now starting at $18.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haus Murphy\u2019s Oktoberfest<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Located in historic Downtown Glendale, the favorite German restaurant Haus Murphy\u2019s is celebrating Oktoberfest on October 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29; however, spots are filling up fast and the first two days are already booked out so make sure to grab your spot for a memorable German experience. From 5 to 9 p.m., enjoy the sounds of Germany and seasonal imported German beer brewed specifically for this time of year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oktoberfest at Brat Haus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Old Town Scottsdale restaurant is hosting its annual Oktoberfest on October 1 from noon to 8 p.m. for a party full of all the great German beers and traditional German foods, including homemade pretzels, stein-holding contests, live polka bands, games, prizes and drink specials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oktoberfest at Heritage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Heritage at Sportsman\u2019s Park in Glendale is celebrating Oktoberfest with a two-day event on Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16 featuring food, drinks, games, live music, NFL football and awesome giveaways. Tickets<\/a> for general and VIP admission are available now. VIP admission includes one drink, a food buffet, special VIP seating, contests and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oktoberfest at The Wigwam<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For those who can\u2019t make it out to Munich to experience the treasured German festival, The Wigwam in partnership with Litchfield Park is bringing Oktoberfest right here to Phoenix. Friends 21 and over are welcome to gather on the front lawn to catch live music and play a game of Jenga Giant, then join in on a family-style feast of German-inspired cuisine with a plethora of German beer on draft and German cuisine. Guests are also encouraged to show up in their best German costume for the chance to win prizes. Upon their exit, guests will be given a commemorative Oktoberfest glass. Tickets<\/a> start at $20 per person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OktoberWest Festival at The Westin Kierland Resort<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale is hosting its inaugural OktoberWest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the Pittman Lawn. Live music lovers will enjoy performances from country music artist and Glendale, Ariz. resident Ashley Wineland<\/a> and premier country-rock group of the West, Mogollon Band<\/a>, as well as special guest singer Donny Grubb and fiddle player Patrick Clark. Enjoy mouthwatering food, from local food trucks and beverages from a bourbon tasting-garden, plus a live DJ, line dancing lessons, cornhole, a mechanical bull and more. Tickets<\/a> are $45 per person or reserve a room<\/a> at The Westin Kierland and get two free tickets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scottsdale Oktoberfest Bar Crawl<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Register<\/a> for Scottsdale\u2019s largest free Oktoberfest event and get free entry into the best venues in town, a detailed custom digital map and exclusive drink specials. Enjoy live music from bands and DJs at certain venues and participate in a social media costume contest. Participating bars include Boondocks Patio & Grill, Hi Fi Kitchen & Cocktails, Dierks Bentley\u2019s Whiskey Row, Hotchicks and Casa Amigos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hop Box Oktoberfest<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Hop Box presents the first ever Oktoberfest at The Pemberton on October 15 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event welcomes ages 21 and over to enjoy food, games and live music from Hourglass Cats and DJ Mark Larue, as well as sample beers from over 10 independent craft breweries that will be pouring different variations, including German-style Marzens and Festbiers. General admission and VIP tickets<\/a> are available for presale now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wickenburg Oktoberfest<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Presented by Arizona Craft Brewers Guild, Wickenburg Oktoberfest takes place on October 1 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the historic Stone Park. More than 15 local breweries featuring new and old faces will be joining the event as well as local German food trucks who will be serving up savory food. Guests will also enjoy local live music and fun lawn games.
