However it does not make sense to cancel from a financial standpoint as you will lose deposits, instead you can use those deposits at a later date.\u00a0Reach out immediately to your venue and each of your vendors and discuss your concerns and what their policy will be in this instance. Find out what other dates are available and see if you can find one that works for you. \u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 id=\"hire-a-wedding-planner-if-its-in-your-budget\"><strong>Hire a wedding planner (if it\u2019s in your budget).<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>With the uncertainty of the coronavirus and the effects it will have on planning, hiring a planner will take away some of the unnecessary stress and panic. Give yourself someone outside your immediate circle to lean on and look to for guidance.<\/p>\r\n<h3 id=\"save-the-reception-for-later-not-the-ceremony\">Save the reception for later, not the ceremony.<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>It\u2019s more important than ever to have love and happiness amidst all that is happening. Consider having a small (10 or less) outdoor wedding with just close family and host a bigger reception in the Fall\/ Winter.\u00a0Weddings are still going to take place, now it just means being innovative on what that will look like. Live stream your ceremony for your family and friends and then spend time together as a newlywed couple. You can also still find the perfect bridal occasions and bridesmaid dresses online.
