Think you have what it takes to be a Phoenix Fashion Week Top 40 Model<\/a><\/strong>? Your opportunity to walk the runways at PHXFW is here on Saturday, June 2 at The Saguaro Scottsdale<\/a>. Doors open for registration at 11:30am with the Casting starting at 12:00pm. Females 5\u20198 or taller and males 5\u201910\u201d or taller with a healthy, slender build are preferred but not required. All looks, genders and types are welcome to audition!<\/p>\n

Each year Phoenix Fashion Week reps scour Arizona for the best emerging talent to participate in their highly coveted Model of the Year Competition. The Top 40 selected models will experience a four month-long Bootcamp of model training, model challenges and fashionable events all leading up to the leading fashion industry event in the Southwest \u2013 Phoenix Fashion Week at Talking Stick Resort. The experience culminates with one male and one female being named Model of the Year 2018 and snagging a modeling contract with The Agency AZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Models should come prepared;\u00a0check out below for what to bring, suggestions, tips and more. As an added bonus all models who audition for Phoenix Fashion Week will also have a chance at AZ Foothills Face of Foothills<\/strong><\/a> title which includes a magazine cover, full fashion shoot, VIP event appearance, thousands in cash and prizes and more.<\/p>\n

What to Wear<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Females should wear fitted clothes: skinny jeans, plain fitted black\/white\/gray t-shirt or tank plus heels.<\/p>\n

Males should wear fitted pants and a black\/white\/gray shirt.<\/p>\n

What to Bring<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A positive attitude and great energy!<\/p>\n

Applicants under 18 need to bring a parent or legal guardian.<\/p>\n

One headshot, 8\u00d710 max size. A photo is mandatory; you will not be able to try out without one.<\/p>\n

Hair & Makeup<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Natural make up, hair simple and down. Bring a hair tie to pull your hair back, so scouts can see your whole face.<\/p>\n
