A:\u00a0 Hello Dee.\u00a0 Thank you for the question.<\/p>\n

A non-surgical rhinoplasty is any nose shaping that is done without actually using an incision or having to go into the operating room.\u00a0\u00a0 It is essentially using dermal fillers like Juviderm to add volume and shape to the nose.\u00a0 Notice that a non-surgical rhinoplasty does not subtract from the nose but only adds to it.\u00a0 Sometimes when there is a hump on the bridge of the nose that needs to be reduced we can add volume above and below it to camouflage the hump.\u00a0 It seems counterintuitive but it can work quite nicely if it is done properly.\u00a0 Please see below a recent example of a non-surgical rhinoplasty where dermal filler was used to camouflage the hump but also used to give the tip a little more projection to match up with the now higher nasal bridge.\u00a0 Since we are using a dermal filler, a non-surgical rhinoplasty is not permanent and must be done every 6-18 months depending on the filler chosen.<\/p>\n
