Cactus Flower Florists is collaborating with Seattle-based glassybaby for a colorfully fun pop-up shop of glass blown votives and drinkers at its Scottsdale store on January 13 and 14, 2017. The glassybaby votives have a cult following across the country catching the attention of celebs like talk show host/actress Kelly Ripa, model Linda Evangelista and musician Eddie Vedder to name a few. Each votive and drinker shines with beautiful, vibrant colors formed from solid glass batons.

Cactus Flower Florists will be hosting free floral demonstrations as part of the pop-up shop from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13 and 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14. Hands-on DIY floral classes will run every hour on the hour on Saturday, January 14 for $65 per person. Attendees at the DIY class will learn from a professional floral designer on how to take fresh cut flowers from a local florist or garden and create simple DIY arrangements in unique vases and containers. The registration fee allows participants to take home their own glassybaby drinker, fresh flowers, and greenery.

In addition, everyone who pops by Cactus Flower Florists’ Scottsdale retail store can enjoy an extended floral happy hour with 50 percent off loose flowers all day both days. Ten percent of the pop-up shop proceeds will benefit Fresh Start Women’s Foundation. As a three time cancer survivor, glassbaby owner Lee Rhodes devotes her business to giving hope, beauty, kindness, and donating to charitable organizations across the country – over $5 million to date.
