From Polaroids to pink sips, North Hollywood hot spot, The Garland, hosts a slew of fun summer programming.
Snapchat, who? With Poolside Polaroids, guests can reserve a retro Polaroid camera poolside at The Garland with the help of a hotel employee and snap photos to take as keepsakes ($4 per photo). The hotel is brimming with must-see photo ops, from the poolside fireplace and the fountain adjacent to the The Front Yard restaurant to the colorful, retro-chic lobby and the butterfly-decked wall leading to the pool area.
Tune in for an evening under the stars in the cool Hollywood air at The Garland’s outdoor event venue, Beverly Park, for the Songs of Summer concert series from 7 to 10 p.m. Each month, music lovers (much be 21-plus) can enjoy festive drinks, bites (hello, taco carts!) and live music beginning at dusk. Though the concert series is free, tickets must be reserved on Eventbrite. (Music lineup: June 14, Everyday People; July 12, LoveStoned; and August 16, Cowling Band.)
Get your drink on via the Garland's $20 bottomless rosé offering at The Garland’s signature restaurant, The Front Yard. The special is available every day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (must purchase entree to redeem bottomless offer). Then, head to the lobby bar from 4 to 6 p.m. every day for a pre-dinner tipple. The Garland offers four new specialty cocktails for "Spritz Hour." A standout is the summer-ready MacMurray’s Method Spritz, which is a porton pisco acholado, pineapple juice, lemon, pinot noir and a splash of lemon lime soda.
