Friday:
Date Night Drive-In Movie Nights: “When Harry Met Sally”
The Promenade in Scottsdale hosts the last of its Date Night drive-in movie nights for the month with a showing of “When Harry Met Sally.” Food tastings, raffles and music take place from 7 to 8 p.m., with the movie starting at 8 p.m. While the movies are free, a suggested donation of canned food items is requested to benefit the Harvest Compassion Center. Bring your blankets and chairs!
“Legally Blonde the Musical” at Desert Stages Theatre
Desert Stages Theatre welcomes “Legally Blonde the Musical," a musical adaptation of the novel “Legally Blonde” by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture under the same name. There will be performances all weekend long—Friday, Saturday and Sunday—with an ending date of Sunday, June 16. Ticket prices vary.
“Will James: Cowboy Artist and Author” at Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West
Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West is currently hosting the second run of “Will James: Cowboy Artist and Author,” an exhibition back by popular demand and on loan to SMoW by Paradise Valley resident, Abe Hays, for an exclusive three-month showing. It is the largest and most comprehensive collection of James’ work in private hands. The museum is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays.
“Once” at Phoenix Theatre
This eight-time Tony Award-winning musical, “Once,” is a tale of love and loss, following dreams and walking away. The show will be performed at the Phoenix Theatre in Central Phoenix all weekend long and through June 16.

“Alice In Wonderland” at Desert Stages Theatre
Gerry Cullity’s “Alice In Wonderland” graces Desert Stages Theatre this weekend. The family-friendly show captures the adventures of young Alice adapted from Lewis Carroll’s children classic. “Alice In Wonderland” will play at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday each weekend through June 9.
Ballet Arizona’s An Evening with Desert Botanical Garden: Eroica
Doesn’t a little ballet under the stars sound dreamy? Ballet Arizona continues its yearly tradition, An Evening at Desert Botanical Garden. Back by popular demand, Artistic Director Ib Andersen presents the masterpiece Eroica, which is choreographed to Beethoven’s “Third Symphony.” Saturday, June 1, is the last performance in the 15-show series. Tickets for Eroica start at $48.
Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour’s Debuts New Book o' Cocktails
