Sun City Poms at Harkins Theatres
In honor of Diane Keaton’s dazzling new film, “Poms,” Harkins is celebrating the event at several theater locations, which will feature appearances, special performances and greet events with the Sun City Poms – a group of spunky, senior citizen women who have been shedding stereotypes and breaking barriers for almost 40 years. Music of Led Zeppelin at Phoenix Symphony
While Led Zeppelin concert tickets might not be as easy – or as cheap – to get ahold of, no worries because the Phoenix Symphony is celebrating the famed musical icon in their own, unique way this weekend. The tunes are amplified by a full rock band, creator Brent Havens conducts vocalist Randy Jackson and the Phoenix Symphony as they capture Led Zeppelin’s sheer blast. Bike the Hidden Gems of Scottsdale
What better way to absorb the vibrant sights and gems of Scottsdale than by bike? Step out into Arizona’s glorious spring weather and ride the sidewalks and backstreets of Scottsdale for a glimpse of some of the beloved city’s best-kept secrets and hidden spots. The Bash: Music and Craft Beer Festival
The Bash is a day filled with craft beer and live music at Margaret T. Hance Park in Phoenix. The Bash will feature up to four hours of craft beer tastings with more than 100 beers to choose from and music from Rancid, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Suicidal Tendencies, L7 and H20. Urban Wine Walk
The self-guided tasting tour returns for its ninth year offering participants the opportunity to explore downtown, socialize, and experience the buzzing bar and restaurant scene. Sip, savor and saunter to 30 local bars and restaurants, and sample fabulous wines on a pedestrian-friendly tour of local eateries — all located along the light rail stretching from uptown to downtown. Experience Polynesia
Soak in the music and culture of the Pacific Islands with ukulele lessons, live Polynesian drumming, Hawaiian and Tahitian dance performances, and an ‘uli‘uli instrument-making craft at the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM). Carry the Load Rally
The Carry the Load Rally provides an active way to connect Americans to the sacrifices made by military, veterans, first responders and their families. Their national relay team is traveling over 4,500 miles from Seattle to Dallas, with a stop in Phoenix, carrying the flag in an effort to raise awareness.
