As part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility program, iNSPIRE, Mark-Taylor Residential recently joined forces with Feed My Starving Children to produce more than 20,000 meals for children in need. The volunteer event coincided with National Volunteer Month and saw participation from approximately 100 Mark-Taylor employees.

The meals packed during the event will help ensure nearly 60 children receive daily nourishment throughout the year. This initiative reflects the heart of the iNSPIRE program, which promotes meaningful community engagement by encouraging both employees and leadership to participate in impactful service efforts.

“We are proud of our employees who want to make a meaningful difference in the world, and we will continue to provide them with opportunities to do so,” said Kurtis Strauel, Senior Director of Human Resources. iNSPIRE focuses on four core causes: easing hunger, honoring the military, aiding the homeless, and providing ongoing support.

“iNSPIRE is a cornerstone of our culture at Mark-Taylor and we’re happy to have so many employees who believe in our mission and values, committing to working together to support the communities around us,” Strauel said.

Feed My Starving Children, a nonprofit organization, is committed to ensuring that every child is fed and fulfilled. The meals produced are carefully designed by food science and nutrition experts to supplement dietary needs and combat malnutrition. The organization partners with long-term food distribution networks to maintain lasting impact in the communities it serves. Founded in 1985, Mark-Taylor continues to make a meaningful difference both locally and globally, with plans to grow its volunteer initiatives through the iNSPIRE program.
