When Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale kicks off Jan. 15, car enthusiasts (and guests who are along for the ride) will be greeted with the car auction’s newest addition, the 2012 Lifestyle Pavilion. Providing eight days and nights of entertainment, the 2012 Lifestyle Pavilion will offer can’t-miss lifestyle, fashion, music and culinary events. What’s more, proceeds from the Barrett-Jackson 2012 Lifestyle Pavilion will support one of 10 local charity beneficiaries, including Gabriel’s Angels, Dress for Success and Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Here’s a taste of what to expect:

• Open daily (Jan. 15-22). The VIP Ladies Lounge features complimentary spa services, food and beverages and makeup and hair styling.
• Tuesday, Jan. 17. “Catwalk-for-a-Cause” highlights include
a performance by “American Idol” Jordin Sparks.
• Thursday, Jan. 19. “The International, Fiesta of 4 Flags”
hosts fashion, food and, of course, cars from around the globe (expect samplings from the United States, Italy, Japan and Germany). The event is capped off with a fashion show and
a performance by the U.S. Marine Corps Color Guard.
• Friday, Jan. 20. “FUEL Your Senses” Culinary & Wine Fest dishes out delicacies from more than 15 food and wine vendors, not to mention samples of high-end spirits.
Car connoisseurs will also be excited to know that, for the first time ever in the auction’s 41 years, Barrett-Jackson Investment Grade Vehicles will be up for auction. These seven must-see cars are among the world’s most rare and valuable, with a $250,000 reserve. Among the Barrett-Jackson Investment Grade Vehicles is the award-winning 1947 Bentley Franay Mark VI Cabriolet (pictured).
