\nEarlier this month, downtown’s Phoenix Public Market–an open-air market that is home to nearly 100 vendors–debuted its Phoenix Public Market <\/i>Cafe. The casual eatery–which was brought to us by the team behind the popular St. Francis restaurant, also in Phoenix–is\u00a0housed in an remodeled space\u00a0 and dishes out breakfast, lunch and dinner. Diners can pop in for a cup of coffee at the coffee bar,\u00a0quick and easy takeout,\u00a0a sit-down meal or savor the\u00a0expansive outdoor patio while sitting on a rustic picnic table with a glass of vino.
\nChef Paul Steele has crafted a wallet-friendly, health-focused menu\u00a0that features\u00a0hearty sandwiches on house-baked bread, salads, fresh-baked pastries and slow-cooked meats hot off the wood-roasted rotisserie. The bill of fare feature chickpea pancakes, brick-oven bagels, pork confit, pork chile verde “pot pie,” innovative cocktails and much more. Plus, ingredients in many of the dishes on the Phoenix Public Market <\/i>Cafe menu will be sourced from the adjacent farmers’ market. An on-site retail component will sell goods from the Valley’s\u00a0NutWhats, lotions from Desert Palm Emu Ranch, Stone Grindz raw organic chocolate, Black Mesa Ranch goat cheese and McClendon\u2019s Select.
