\nWhen you think about downing some tequila, where do you go? Well, now, you’ll go to Mesa. On Sept. 17 at 11 a.m, TQLA will open at Mesa’s Dana Park. The restaurant and tequila bar will offer a blend of Southwestern, Mexican and Southern cuisine, a collection of tequilas on tap, hyper-cooled to 5 degrees F and a certified Tequilier on staff (the equivalent of a sommelier).
\nTQLA already has a popular outpost in Houston that has received a variety of accolades. Mesa’s TQLA marks the brand’s first location in the west. Signature dishes include crawfish and spinach enchiladas; table-side guacamole; pumpkin seed-crusted salmon; and, for dessert, the Cuatro Leches. As for the tequila list, it is make up of of 100 percent blue agave representing blanco, reposado, anejo and extra anejo varieties, in addition to flavored and infused tequilas, soto and mescal. Four premium tequilas will be served on tap that are hyper-cooled to five degrees. Seasonal tequila infusions plus sangrias or specialty margaritas and palomas will complement any TQLA entr\u00e9e. Ongoing tequila education will also be offered through sampling seminars and tequila dinners.
