\nNot only did Z’Tejas just celebrate its 20th year of providing delectable Southwestern eats in the Valley, but the restaurant is happy to announce that it will open a fifth Valley location. Construction will begin on July 2 on Z’Tejas’ new Central Phoenix outpost. \u201cWe are thrilled to move forward with our fifth location,\u201d says Z\u2019Tejas CEO Steven Micheletti. \u201cAfter over a year of planning, Z\u2019Tejas is finally able to move ahead with our building plans which will make for a great addition to this Phoenix neighborhood.\u201d
\nThe new location will feature small dining rooms for an intimate feel and a greenhouse with a retractable roof. The restaurant will seat about 290 guests and include an outdoor patio for locals to enjoy the cool weather.
\nNow for a little history lesson on Z’Tejas. Since the first Arizona Z\u2019Tejas restaurant opened in December 1991 at Scottsdale Fashion Square, the restaurant has become a go-to spot for locals wanting a fun happy hour experience (thanks in part to the restaurant’s awesome margaritas) and a delectable Southwestern-inspired meal.
