Or perhaps a glass of Mangus from Arizona Stronghold? If you consider yourself a fan of local wines, then make your way to Phoenix this weekend for the third annual Arizona Wine Growers Festival at the Farm on Saturday, Nov. 19. More than 20 of Arizona&#8217;s top wineries will make their way to the Farm at South Mountain and provide participants tastings of their top bottles. Apart from tasting some of the best grape juice that the state has to offer, the Festival at the Farm will be rounded out with a picnic lunch prepared by The Farm Kitchen, tasty treats from other local favorites, a high-energy live auction as well as educational seminars for those who want to learn more. The Festival at the Farm is from 1 to 5 p.m. Tickets are $75.<br \/>\nFor a truly special and unique experience, Quiessence Restaurant at The Farm at South Mountain will host a divine \u201cCelebration of the Arizona Wine Growers\u201d the evening prior to the festival. On Friday, Nov. 18, the multi-course dinner will allow guests to mingle and meet winemakers from across the state. This special event includes an awards reception followed by a four-course dinner using local produce by Quiessence Executive Chef Greg LaPrad. Each course is paired with winning wines from the 2011 Arizona Grower\u2019s Cup and Winemaker\u2019s Medal competition. \u201cCelebration of the Arizona Wine Growers\u201d is from 6 to 9 p.m. and is capped at 100 guests.
